The new Chambers Guide has been published

The new "Global Practice Guide Insurance and Reinsurance 2024" has just been published by Chambers. Philipp Scheuba, Partner at BLS Rechtsanwälte, has exclusively written the article on the legal situation in Austria. In total, the guide contains information on 32 jurisdictions.

Both internationally and nationally, there has been a significant increase in cybercrime in recent years. With increasing digitization criminal organizations are also adapting their actions to the changed circumstances.

Other emerging risks which affect the insurance market are the consequences of global warming and associated natural disasters and technological change. The demand for insurances covering these risks is high, although some risks face extreme difficulties to be insured in the future. Artificial intelligence (AI) is also a growing concern for the global insurance industry.
