50 years BLS

To mark the firm's 50th anniversary, a summer party was held on 6 June 2024. In addition to the entire BLS team, long-standing and closely connected clients were invited. Over 200 guests followed the invitation to the Salonplafond (“ceiling hall”) in Vienna's Museum of Applied Arts (MAK).

Partner Philipp Scheuba opened the evening with a speech and thanked all those present for their loyalty and contribution to the firm's success. He recalled the founding of the firm in 1974, when it began its business with three people. Not without pride, he referred to the company's positive development and steady growth to its current team size of over 60 people.

Based on a few anecdotes, he described the changes in working methods during his 25 years at the firm. He also addressed the challenges of the future, which the firm is well equipped to face thanks to a mixture of experience and youthful energy.

In magnificent early summer weather, relationships were cultivated and new contacts made in the beautiful garden. The guests were spoilt with refreshing drinks and a flying dinner with a variety of delicacies and regional organic products. The evening was accompanied by music from "Lady and the Keys". A spectacular summer thunderstorm finally moved the party indoors. In the opulent hall with its name-giving coffered ceiling, "DJ Nexto" kept the party going late into the night.
